hey anyone know if we just change the front 02 sensor without changing the rear one if we will have any problems? my idle has been a little rough and i was wondering if since i changed the front o2 sensor to a bosch one and did not change the rear one could this be the cause of my rough idle?

I also changed my front one, and I get a rough idle as well. But only in the morning when it is cold and only for about 15 seconds. Mine is a NGK though, 37$ from nopi. I bet you paid like 99$ for yours huh.

Wait are you saying you got a rough idle "After" you changed the front upper o2 sensor? It should be a good idle after you change it..I'm debating on gettin that one from Nopi...Was your idle fine BEFORE you changed the o2 sensor, or was it always rough?

You know I should have stated that better! I thought about it after I wrote the message. Yes I have always had a rough idle in the morning, even before the NGK O2 sensor.(but only when it is really cold out, like 35 degrees or less). But like I said before it is only for about 15 seconds-the car seems like it is going to die then it clears up. Runs perfect after that.
Sorry about the confusion.

Just changing the O2 sensor to change it doesn't help. IF the sensor is bad ,change it. Check to see WHICH sensor is bad and only change that one. IF you have 70,000 miles+ and you have a bad sensor, then change both of them. But otherwise, don't change unless it needs to be changed. Brand name should NOT make a difference. They all should meet the requirements.

my front one went bad, so i changed it, i noticed that the bosch one is super fast acting. on my A/F meter the lights would go slowly back and forth with the old one, but now it is so super responsive it flashes back and forth super fast! and now seeing that i did not change the rear one i was thinking that i got a fast acting one in the front and a slow acting one in the back and they may be out of sync trying to compensate for each other and A/F mixture
