I can get an OBX Fuel Rail, really cheap. But I was reading the specs on it and it says it has a 7/16" Enlarged Bore for maximum fuel flow acceleration. Does this mean they bored out the stock size an extra 7/16"? Or does it mean that it is a 7/16" size? I think the stock size is 3/4" bore. Here is the specs link. http://www.obxracingsports.com/performance.cfm?catid=3&subCatID=19&subCat2ID=2

So would this be an upgrade to stock?

You're kidding, right? Just because you increased fuel flow doesn't give you a power increase. It allows you to SUPPORT higher FP and HP but it doesn't give you any horsepower.

Exactly and even at that we don't need an aftermarket one unless you are going for looks in which case I'd prolly do some shit to mine before I decided to upgrade. Our rails can support serious power.

Yeah our stock rail flows fine. The only way I'd upgrade was for looks or ease of installing -AN fittings and a return line using braided stainless.

Do yall know the stock bore size of the fuel rail? Also, on the specs are they saying its 7/16" bigger than stock, or is it just a 7/16" bore size?

OBX's description isn't really clear. The way I understood it is that it's 7/16" bigger. I'll try to locate my extra rail and measure it.

Im Prolly the only person with this rail on my car...yea, ur right it doesn’t really help your HP, but then again I got 310 injectors so I wanted to have a nice a bigger bore, and it did help my HP. So what’s on my car now? the stock rail. lol... check it out, obx makes some piece of shi* universal rail, dude look on there site they don’t even say that make it for an eclipse...when we first put mine in, it fit, but man it was leaking all over the place its no good!!! The stock rail is ok just get bigger injectors for the same amount you would pay for that stupid rail.

So all in all, the rail is actually smaller than stock and it would not be worth it?

Dude, everyone has said it. It won't increase your HP at all, Hahn is running on a stock fuel rail if that says anything, and according to ^^ they leak like a bitch. No, they're not worth it. Buy a better mod.

Yes take it from me I HAD IT AND IT WAS RUNNING ON MY CAR FOR GOOD 3 weeks!!! it was leaking and we had to mod the hell of it just to keep it from leaking...ur have bigger bore, but do ur injectors have to be upgraded to take any advantage, as far as I no. you can buy bigger injectors which will be a better mod then the piece fuel rail. I would have been so pissed if I didn’t only pay 90 bux...the only thing it did is make my intake m. look bad ass. Other then that it just made everything smell like 91 =)

good luck bro
