satan told me a while back that i had a valve spring that might be a little faulty....my question is, how much will it cost to replace just one valve spring? if i do have to replace it, should i do anything else while i'm in there?
i would've searched but i'm at my girlfriends house and i dont have time to search, sorry!

If you're going to replace one because its faulty, suspect the other 15 and replace them while you're at it. I really can't say that it would be either wise, nor cheaper to replace just one.

Yeah if one is bad I'd worry about the rest. As for changing them, it's not easy, best way is with the head off. Unless you create a tool to comrpess the valve springs and pump up the cylinder with air to hold the valve.

SOunds to me like a good excuse top upgrade and replace them all.

1. take off head
2. rent valve spring compressor tool
3. be very careful when taking the snap ring off the valve, valve springs will fly across the room and break stuff!
