You could be low on blinker fluid. Or your headlights aren't blue enough. :P

More info please. When you say mis-idling, do you mean it won't stay running? It will start? It bucks on you when you try to accelerate?

when im driving it feels like it going to turn off.keep foot on gas at stops so it wont turn off. and it sound like its puttering.the check engine light came on.smells like gas.

pull out the IAC and look at it. it should be extended an inch. sounds to me that your IAC is extended way past that. if you are really bad at estimating, just push it further in and the ECU will automatically close it up a lil. just make sure your car is off (pull out the key) when you connect the wires back to the IAC. if not, it will extend it again.

i was messing with my car one day and decided to pull the wire off of it while car was idleing to see if that was what caused the idling problem but it wasn't. i shut the engine off and when i connected it again, i heard IAC movement and sure as hell, the engine died right after i started it again. no air. so give that a try.

The easiest way to begin is to pull the CEL code. That will probably point you in the right direction. Autozone can pull the CEL code for you free of charge.

worse than i thought a spark plug broke. compressuion okay something ratteling in top end may be the cams. that what the machenic said. any body now a good mechanic in fremont

Can someone PLEASE give me a hint on where is the IAC?
I know it's on the intake manifold of the throttle part.
but which or where it is? I don't know how it looks and so on.
Can someone post a pic and circle the IAC part. THANKS ALOT!!

It's been 1 month now, I still can't fix my g/f eclipse idling problem yet....
