W00t! It was very very nice, the car is lowered 3 inches from the looks of it, its on the stock rims and only sits 2-3inches off the ground... I love how it rides, looks, and especially when your sitting in it, how everythng is lower (windows, ect.) and it just FEELS sexy lol.

Anyway, it needs some stuff repainted like the passenger side rocker panel, and the wing DEFINETLY needs a new paintjob, the guy tried to pauint it with a latex based house paint, and well... ill get pics when i get the car. ITs a aftermarket wing so i kinda want to repaint it, but ill definetly have to sand it ALOT to get it smooth so i dunno if it will be worth the work.

But yea, turns out itsn ot a AEM cold air intake but a ugly HKS intake, it works though so ill just keep it on there till i can afford a AEM kit.

All in all i was very impressed with the car, and the Thermal research exhaust sounds very nice. From driving it im pretty sure it has a decent job on the ported/polished head cus the car definetly pulls harder than some others ive been in, but it could just be from the exhaust and intake?

I think with a tune up, some heavy cleaning under theh ood, and the removal of "WWW.SPEEDOPTIONS.COM" across the rear bottom of the bumper, and the HKS sticker smack dab in the middle of the rear, the car could be quite nice.

Lookin forward to becoming a true DSM owner :thumbsup

Oh,m and i also wanted to add... it has a A/F guage on it, but im pretty sure its not even hooked up as it sits there and goes from way lean, then rich, then back and forth in a constand pattern... is this hwat these do if not hooked up? Cus ill have to fix that.

thats what the a/f gauge does goes back and forth from the o2 sensor cyceling. WHen you step on the gas it should stay inbetween stoich and rich and bounce a little.

Hmm... i didnt really open it up when i was in the drivers seat, the owner did though but i wasnt payin attention to the guage then.... So if it wasnt hooked up it wouldnt even light up then right?

Oh well...thats nothing to really worry about right now. Did you get it checked out mechanically?..Like a compression test.....is the scheduled maintenance done...(timing belt, water pump, tensioner etc...)any cels?....These things should to be checked out....Congrats on buying the car though..:thumbsup :thumbsup If you take care of it, You'll love it!:thumbsup
:thumbsup

Well i gotta clean it up a lil bit, but the engine revs extremely fast, suprised me alot cus if my foot wasnt COMPLETELY off the clutch when i went to shift the rpms would fly up in a split second, much faster than my brothers sunfire...

Anyway, the wing needs to be repainted, gotta sand off hte LATEX BASED HOUSE PAINT he used to paint it LOL, anyway, im not too worried if theres a few things here and there, im more than willing to open up the engine if i have to, oil was pretty clean but not clean enough that he JUST changed it to make it look better, and the timing belt is due in about 6,000 miles so i figure ill do that wheni get the car.

BTW, i already love it :cheers
