I used it before I started getting an oil leak and it ran so much smoother, I havent used it since because that is expensive, especially if you have to put more in every two weeks. :thumbsdown

Thats what I've got in my motor...It says its petroleum based so its fully blendable w/ full synthetics.

I didn't ever check my oil pressure but I started getting a leak at my oil pan after using it, maybe that had something to do with it???:o

i've used it but i don't use it regularly. it's extremely heavy, almost like gear oil. i use it on a motor with rod knock. it's helped prolong a few engine deaths.
other then that i wouldn't recommend it if you plan on going fast. it's more of a reliability precaution.

I do not understand why people go over 3000 (or whatever they have as their oil change schedule). You can never change your oil too much people. I drive my car hard a few nights out the week and consequently change my oil every 1500-2000 miles with Mobile1 oil & filter. Rather spend 40 bucks on oil changes and prolong my engine than drive around with old, watery dirty oil.
If you are not going to do it for me, do it for your DSM please.

I think it is just honey...
anyway, did you guys who had problems with it read the instructions and use 20:80? i did and it only raised my oil pressure 5-10 psi...

There is no need to change your oil that much. My dad changes his oil like every 6-7k on his camery with 300k miles on it and it runs like the day he got it in 1991.

I use that stuff in my drag truck and in my mitsu, I dont recall any problems with it in the truck and that stuff has always been in there ever since the motor was built. After reading other posts and finding out about the oil leaks I believe mine started leaking after I put that in there. So in some cases I guess its good and in others it causes problems. I also used the a/t transmission additive when mine started slipping and it made it seem like a new transmission.

I used it with two different oil changes and Mobil 10w30 sythetic, and I did notice a minimal decrease in the lifter ticking sound--or it could just be my imagination. Other than that, I did't notice any other change. If anything, if you've seen their little display gizmo, since their oil clings to parts, that gives me peace of mind at engine startup.
