or would their diameter throw everything off??? I am confused. I like the fact they are light!!! Thanks.

hmmmmm.....i dunno, you would probly have to measure it with all the pulleys on with a tape measurer and go get a custom belt :shrug
good find though :thumbsup, i've been lookin for somethin like this _________ 96 talon esi-t san clemente, ca

Yes you would definately have to get custom belts. Use a string, wrap it around then measure the string.
I really doubt you want to underdrive your crank and overdrive your alternator. I'm pretty sure your alternator wouldn't produce enough power to keep your car running, and your air conditioner compressor won't do much either.

if you overdrive the alternator and underdrive the crank i think it'll cancel itself out. the alt will still make a good amount of power and you'll see see gains from the UDP
imo
i dont know first hand but that seems logical to me _________ 96 talon esi-t san clemente, ca

That's not how it works. Think of it like this. Say the stock pulley ratio is 2:1 for the alternator pulley to the crank pulley. You reduce the crank pulley by 25% and it ends up as 1.5:1. Nof if you increase the size of the alternator pulley by 25%, it will change again to 1.5:1.25. To get a better idea, turn a 21spd bicycle upside down and reduce a front gear size and increase a rear gear size. Ultimately it will slow down the accesories. I don't think it would hurt to put one on the power steering pulley, but that's going to be minimal gains for ~$150.

Right on, thanks guys, I think I am gonna can that idea and use my afx udp as is for now. I really think I am going to have custom billet "stock diameter" alt and power steering pulleys fabbed up. They will retain normal circumference, but they would be lighter than hell.....wonder how much they would run? I'll have to get some spare pulleys from a "yard" and do some legwork...

That's sounds awsome...........let me know how that goes dude...
