64632, How long does head work take? Posted by extreme97nt, Dec-13-03 03:41 AM
I sent my head out to vt engine development to be fitted with 1mm oversized valves, crower springs, surfaced ect... I am just wondering how long it takes to rebuild a head. When I origionally talked to them they said I can have it back before christmas. When I talked to them a few days ago I asked if it was going to be done before x-mas and they were like I doubt it. I was kinda pissed they told me origionally that it would be done but now its a maybe. I get two weeks off for the holidays an that is the only time I would be able to swap out the head. Do you thnk it could be done?
 best time so far 14.3 @ 101.1mph

it shouldn't take more than a day or 2 to do the actual work. it just depends on when they get around to doing it.
