Im a newbie to dsm tuning, so please forgive my stupidity.

I am lookin at the HKS Carbon TI catback exhaust for my NT. Will this exhaust fit if I buy the one for GST? Ive seen the system on at least one other N/T so it should fit. Will losing backpressure be an issue? This may or may not be a myth but let me know.

Also I want a GReddy 4-1 header. Will this fit directly to the Carbon TI piping?

yes it the gst will fit.The piping is the same as our's just a different muffler.The headers should fit since it bolts up to the cat correct?(first time helpin someone :7 )

it will bolt up but you will use a lot a back pressure and it might actually hurt more than help. and yes the greddy will bolt right up.

to correct nightwolf, you will lose backpressure, as well as exhaust gas velocity. you want a hi velocity low back pressure exhaust. with the hks ti setup you will have a low backpressure lower velocity exhaust which will hurt lowend. i hate seeing the old backpressure myth still being stated as fact. you should get a hi flo cat while your at it as that will be the restriction in the exhaust.

Yea, the loss in back pressure will actually hurt you, get the greddy headers, a hi flo cat, and a cat back designed for our cars. Im actually getting a greddy header and some kind of hi flo cat soon myself, the greddy header bolts up to your stock catalytic converter. So, get a hi flo so that you dont have any bottlenecks. If you have enough money to go turbo later, im sure you can upgrade to an exhaust for the turbo model. That is what im planning on someday, lol. just my 2 cents.
