LOL! Pootard! Great word.

Speaking as one who has done both - on the same rebuild :rolleyes I can say that it's easier to get it all in and out together. If you had left the tranny in the car in the first place, then you have an obvious answer, but you didn't, so you had to post. Have fun during break in. Did you remember your o-rings? The seal around the crankshaft on the oil pump? Didn't push your rear main seal in too far did you? Those will bite you in the ass something fierce about 2 hours after all your help goes home or the next day when you take her for a spin. :P Enjoy the break in period my friend. :thumbsup

Why exactly did you remove the Tranny in the first place?

Short of a Transmission overhaul, I can't understand why people remove the whole transmission, axles, and tear apart their front suspension just to yank the engine.

got a good deal on a "my stock tranny" swap for a "another tranny with LSD, spec stage 3 mod clutch and fidanza flywheel" thats the only reason the tranny came out!
