hey before i do something wrong i need some advice to you break in the cams just like a ohv ie. 3000 for about 20mins? i just got through installing cams and would like to break them in properly

can someone give this small block boy a few tips

Because it's a roller rocker design, no break in is needed.

Not like some of the old pushrod style V-8's that you do have to do the 3k rpm trick.

You COULD do a very light break-in, such as the 3000 rpms for 10 min or so, and even change the oil after 400 miles or so, but as Mike pointed out with our cam/roller design it is not needed. Just remember to use the assembly lube on the install, and torque everything down correctly, and you're all set.
