I have a 96 talon with a hrc stage 2. I have removed my egr and evap system about a year ago. The county I live in just decided to do obd2 inspections for 96 and up. Does anybody know what resistance the circuits for the egr and evap systems need to see to not throw up a cel. These inspections dont use a sniffer, they just plug into your diagnostic port and check any trouble codes. I figure it would be easier to do the resistors than to put all the shit back on. TIA

Also, could I just hook up the sensors/solenoids, but none of the plumbing or vacuum lines and not throw up a code?

I believe my resistor is a 10 watt, 100 ohm resistor for my EGR. Don't know about the EVAP system.

BTW, what did you do to remove your EVAP?

there is a vent line running to the charcoal canister from the gas tank. Just unhook it and make sure it is somewhere trash doesnt get in it. take out the charcoal canister behind the pass headlight and block off the vacuum lines at the intake manifold. The car doesnt run any different with all this shit gone. It wont add hp or anything, but you can free up some space and save weight.
