I was browsing around looking for a GSX and found a 2g with a v6 engine inside. Just curious if this person is here. Here is the link.

Nothing special about it. It's got an A/S V6 in it. it's only 2.5L, it only comes in auto, and it has no upgrade path beyond mild boltons, unless you get completely crazy and do custom twin turbo kits or hackjob superchargers.

We can turbo the 2.5L in the Avenger, but there is more clearance front of the engine packaging could be tight. 3.0L can be swapped in the Avenger, so it might fit in our engine bay as well. The 3.5L barely fits in the Avenger, so wedging that in there would be an interesting endeavour.

We've looked at the 5-speed swap in place of the A604 attached to a V-6 there are only a couple things to iron out and it can be done.

Thats because its a cheap hood. Or bumper, or both?

I was thinking about putting a V6 3.0 chrysler engine in mine. then going twin turbo.

...I've had many wet dreams about crazy swaps. I'd give a shot the 2.7L punch it to 2.8L iron sleeve it, turbo it, fab plate from NVT to block and we'd be talkin. 450WHP easy from 16lbs low compression no lag standalone and 7500rpms.

I thought the 3.0L was a mitsubishi engine? And don't they have like 200-205HP? I remember seeing one in a stratus R/T. It was nice too 5-speed, leather, sunroof, completly freakin loaded.

Yes it's a Mitsubishi engine. SOHC, nice powerplant.

And yes, I know I probably wont get my reserve (10,5) but.. its all good.. I just need it sold.. heh.

Maybe the guy swapped in a V6 because he didn't know about turboing, but he knew that the A/S had virtually the same engine bay.

I mean, we know there are better things to do, but I give him props for doing it.
