I have 104000 miles on my car and it's starting to smoke. what should I replace. I was thinking i need a new head gasket, pistons and rings(maybe rods), and injectors. can you think of anything else? when I replace the pistons I want just a little better performance.

well with that many miles might as well get it done right. First of all what color is the smoke? Did you do a compression test? how about a leak down one? These are all helpfull in determining the problem.

BTW , this should be in the things weve seen before section. If you want more detailed suggestions or advice then do a search. If you cant find anything then Ill be happy to help and I hope the others do also.

It can be a number of things. But I would recommend if your doing a rebuild to replace the valve seals as well.
