This probaly sounds kinda strange but.. it happened two days ago. everytime i drive a little bit hard there's this wierd ass sound, like a whistle, except not loud at all. it actually sounds like a turbo spooling up but the last time i checked, i have no damn turbo. It doesn't happen when i rev it in park, it only happens at like 5000-6000 rpm. i'm actually pretty positve it's not a suspension component because i just got every ball joints, control arms, and struts and spring are still pretty new. anybody knows what this is?? thanks!

did you do anything to your intake or throttle body? if so it's probably that.

mine does that and i have a Holy Airbox, and a severely dremmeled TB (i had fun)

now it wistles a bit, a little, but i'm not hearing it anymore due to other strange sounds coming from the engine bay

i have a intake. should i take it off then??

keep it on. it's normal, the stock intake muffles a lot of noise but also restricts air flow.

in other words, the wistle is normal

really? so how come it only happens no and not before? and what about my throttle body, would it damage it?? thanks homie!

yeah its normal dude, my car and my friends car both did it after we got it. mine went away after i put on the cai though.we both have 97 gs' if that helps:shrug
