Well I am going to get a 3" catco and a 3" muffler. I can get a catco off ebay cheap but I know that is a brand name. However the muffler is diff. I want a real N1 but ebay only seems to have knock offs. Are any of these knock offs any good, or am I going to get a lot of annoying loud noise and rattleing under heavy acceleration?

not sure but I bought a 2.5" one for like 40 bux shipped, can't beat that price for my Z. Got it and it looks pretty nice, has a silencer too. I havne't installed in my Z yet though cuz it blew the headgasket. I heard Z's with bigger muffs sound awesome ^_^

i was kinda wondering the exact same questions.....about the N1....I want to know if it will sound like shit...but whats the differance between the two????? NE1:shrug

Well the generic N1 mufflers on ebay most likely perform the same with an Apexi N1 muffler, but the quality is not as good. The generic ones begin to rust or whatsoever while the real stuff last longer. As for full-cat backs...do I gotta say anymore?
My friends buy generic mufflers and they sound pretty good...but they have the bomb mufflers.

i bought a n1 style muffler from twelve racing. it sounds really good too. its a real low deep tone no high pitch or any treble to it what so ever. good company to deal with too. ppl with name brand mufflers are asking me all the time where to buy it =P.

The apexi NI knock offs on ebay are, I'd say, sound pretty good..My friend had me buy one for him on ebay and first day he got it installed it. Its pretty loud and very throaty, and he has an LS Integra, think of wat itll sound like in a 2g!
