Is it safe to leave it off??? I wanna be able to see my cam gears and I dont like the look of the cover.

You shouldn't have a problem not having it on. The cover on our '95 NT has been off since last Chrismas and the one on the GSX has been off since last November, so over a year. We used to live in Missouri with lots of gravel roads and never had a problem.

Yes, leave that cover off, or you can't even adjust your cam gears to tune it...
