i searched but no luck! where is the fuel return line on a 1995 eclipse? i found the FPR with the vaccume hose connected to it, but no fuel return line. i will be installing the FMU later for boosting.

also, if anyone has a write up on how to install the **FMU**, not the SFMU, on a 1995 eclipse, PLEASE let me know. star directions suck.

Same side as the feed. it's a low pressure line, just a hose on a nipple with a clamp.

Installing an FMU on a 95 is cake. It comes with a hi pressure line - run that from the fuel rail outlet to the FMU IN port on the side. Take the stock line and connect it to the FMU OUT port on the bottom. Plumb vacuum, you're done.

ok, so if i am looking at the FMU with the largest vertical port pointing up, that top vertical port is vaccume, the side port is fuel IN, and the bottom port is fuel OUT?

The vacuum port is on the top. it is a small 90* hose barb. Does that help your orientation?

yea its the same...i just described it upsidedown from the way it is displayed in your pic.

is the stock fuel line to the fuel rail on the drivers side opposite that of the FPR, colored a tanish/yellowish color?

ok, i am installing the FMU, and there are **2** hoses coming off from the end of the fuel rail. which one do i hook up to the bottom of the FMU, the top hose or the bottom hose?!@! HELP!

^^nevermind that...i figured it out...its the low pressure line like darkone said ;).

now my other deilema...concerning the fuel pump install. i cant get the gold cover off to the fuel tank. this is because of the high pressure line, I CANT LOOSEN THIS. i am almost stripping the 14mm (gold) side and i feel like i am going to break it off, and cant even budge the other larger fitting. what should i do?

Cut a slit in the sheetmetal on the side the lines hit. Peel it away so you can lift it up. The feed line is braized onto the pump cover, it doesn't come off.

Very much so.

Everyone says that it is brazed, but I have never seen one that actually was. They are just VERY tight. Two flare wrenches are perfect for the job, and a crowbar can be used to pry the two wrenches apart to break them loose. Yours may be brazed, though. None of the eight cars that I have checked out, however, had them brazed.

gauges are next on the list before turbo install.

also on a side note: reason why i am not installing the turbo now is bc my friend is dropping in a 4AGZE (175hp 1.6L supercharged)into his '91 c-rolla. he wants to race me while i am still N/A. predicted outcomes in this race? i think i am gonna lose x( .
