I have a short ram intake as we all know..Would it be safe to use a small pvc extension to make it a cold air intake? would it still get too hot if its only the very front where its colder at?..and this is really dumb but where would I find ABS plastic?..Ive looked all over hardware stores but havent found any kind of abs plastic piping..despite searching havent come accross this kinda Q yet...

abs will be fine. just make sure that you fasten it down properly so that you dont loose it out on the freeway.

any hardware store that has a plumbing dept. will have abs sewage pipes. they will also have some cool connectors to attach it to your short ram.
