Hey all!

I'd like to change the tranny fluid on my 95 GS and would like to know what kind of fluid you all recommend? Also, where can I find it at? Thanks!

By the time you spend money on the fluid, your at roughly 20ish....just take it to jiffy lube and they use the GR4 rated tranny fluid and its like $30ish to do...mine's been running like a champ since and shifts alot smoother.

I'd suggest using the factory suggested manual tranny fluid, texaco MTX fluid (or sometimes it's called mopar MTX fluid). It is very expensive, but it has the right additives for the synchros. Also, only change it out if it really needs it (if the car has LOTS of miles on it or you notice a degredation in shift quality) there is no reason to change out the fluid very often (as I have learned)

I disagree with you Todd. I think Trans fluid should be changed every 30k miles. It's a fluid very similar to oil and with heat and use the lubricating properties of the fluid degrade.

And BD syncrosift was designed as a performancee replacement to fluid like Texaco MTX. I use it and the trans has felt smoother since I did the swap. I recommend BG Syncroshift and would get it from http://www.roadraceengineering.com I'm pretty sure they are cheaper than Mach V
