You might have a headgasket leak internally. Do not drive it if you find coolant mixed with oil. Have the gasket changed before you do any damage.

If it is disappearing pretty fast and NO INDICATION of ANY leaking, it probably IS a head gasket. Check up under the engine and between the engine and the firewall (from underneath) and make sure it is not a minor leak (hose, etc) that is not reaching the ground but evaporating on the engine block. Look for stains, etc on the block. I HOPE it is something else besides the Headgasket.
GOOD LUCK

that is exactly what I don't want it to be. just a sptupid question though.. how much coolant goes into the car.. I just thought that it could be possible that I just did not put in enough.
I will check for leaks though. I checked the oil and it did not seem to have coolant mixed with it.

Before you freak out about a head gasket, make sure to look at the top radiator hose. Mine was leaking where it meets the motor. Look at the sensors on the water neck and see if they are green. i replaced this hose once before and it still leaks a little.

Hope this helps

when motor is cold, fill radiator with 50/50 mix. Fill reservoir till it reaches the cold mark. Start car and drive it, when fluid warms up and thermostat opens, water level in reservoir rises to the warm level(GOES UP). If your radiator is low, it will suck it from over flow. Now drive your car for a couple of days checking for leaks constantly. If your reservoir is getting low, your exhaust smells funny(wet exhaust-not just moisture)or your fluid is just disappearing, Keep driving the car.......this way you can REBUILD your motor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Closing your eyes to a problem and hoping it is not what you know it is, will only cost you more money. Everytime people lose fluid in their reservoir and have to keep filling it(without leakage) they have a head gasket problem. GET IT FIXED! If you are turbo, check into buying the thicker gasket from TTIRacing.com It lowers compression to 8.6 and works great.....at that is what they said over the phone. I am going to do this when I do my timing belt and this should help save my internals when I up to 10 psi for everyday driving.

when i changed my head for a new one and got a new thermostat i had to fill up a the res. a couple of times. I bought a gallon of antifreeze and filled the radiator and mixed 50/50 with water. Over the next week i had to refill the resivor 2.5 times before it settled down. Most likely you have air in the system and sometimes it takes a while to get it out.

yeah I think that was it... I filled up the reservoir again and drove around for a while, and it did not go down this time... so i guess my dumb ass just did not put enough in!! I checked the oil and there was no cooler mixed with it and there are no leaks that I can see. so hopefully this was it.
