not sure what this is, i thought it was just lifter noise, but after reading some posts in the "things we've seen before" section im not so sure. its a clicking noise and slowly gets quieter as my car gets warmer. im pretty sure its coming from the passenger side of the engine, but its one of those things where if you listen where you think its coming from it sounds like its coming from somewhere else. any ideas? (its not low oil or old oil... either lol):wary

Does it go away eventually? Ours does that every once and a while. I asked Michael 97Rs about it and he said something to the effect of "If it stops, and you don't have a CEL, don't worry about it"... but then again... Michael knows nothing:).

The evap can has a solenoid that will sometimes make a clicking noise that almost sounds like a crank knock when it's cold out. Is it a constant, kinda slow clicking sound or is it a fast rattling type of sound?

as long as it doesnt increase in speed with increase in RPMs then you are fine. i remember last winter we had a bunch of people screamin about it on here but it is just normal for our cars to do that...i remember counting 12 people posting about this...it is nothing, dont worry.
