Well my car got messed up yesterday, tow man said that i blew my motor. He said that it would be cheaper for me to put in a new engine because by the time i fix everything wrong with my car, it would cost me more. I need some advice on what i should do. Should I replace the motor then sell it, or swap out the motor with something else. If i swap out the motor with something else, it shouldn't be that much more would it? I got time to save up the money because i just bought a 1st gen turbo talon dirt cheap. Only helpful advice please.

I,d use the 1g for my daily driver while Im rebuilding the motor thats blown in the 2g. Just make sure you rebuild the motor using good aftermarket internals so you wont have any problems.

What did you blow on your motor? what happened? sometimes it is not as bad as a shop would like you to yhink.
