Yeah, kinda surprised me too, decent hosting IMO. So basically this is a pipe through the high beam and some paint, but how's the transition made? It almost looks as if there is a specially made lens/cover for this, I'm guessing fiberglass? :shrug

If your going to go to all that trouble...just take it out at the track and put it back in for daily driving! Its not going to give you enough of an increase to bother with I wouldn't think. Cause if you are into drag racing in a serious way...you would rather take out the whole headlight for more flow then that little hole in the headlight.

It's subdued enough that it might just be overlooked. The word here is 'Clean' that's what makes or brakes a street car. I like it, almost makes me want to go back to stock headlights, hmmm...

I must have two other headlights just lying around that I have always wanted to do this to. What I think really sets this one aside is the clean transistion between the intake area and the lens. Makes me wonder if there isn't a straight line being hidden by a bit of Bondo, primer, and paint. ;)

How so? I think it's a decent functional way to set off the look of your car without resorting to wings/bodykits/other things that radically change the visual appeal of our cars in stock form.

I don't agree, bro. If you were to isolate your filter element with a cold air box (a la Corbin), then plumb such an intake to that box, you might actually see a 30* or better drop in your IAT. On a system like yours, that could make a pretty good amount of power. :shrug
