59661, Question for 60mm MP TB owners

Very simple, is it worth the $219 asking price? I am definitely considering it, but would like to know what you all have to say.
:thumbsup

Out of all the money that i've spent on my car in mods, the mp tb was the only one that has put it's money where the port is and has given me noticable results, well except for my afx ecu now that im out of CA and running on 93 octane in GA.

Hell yeah! They have the new piece (don't know what it's called) now that lets you adjust the tension on the throttle plate. I have the older model and I still say it's worth it. :thumbsup

what all goes into the TB. what i mean is, are there any other supporting mods that you have to do like bore anything or is the 60 mm TB a bolt on affair and your done? thanks.

It is bolt on. You will get much more noticable results if you have your intake mani matched, but they have to add material to get the 60mm opening. Many people say it is a noticable difference even with the stock mani. All you have to do is transfer the sensors and bolt it up, if you don't have any throttle cable issues. To those that have the new one: Did they completely fix that problem in the new model??

so i dont have to do anything to the intake mani eh? if i do have throttle cable problems, what could they be. i might end up getting that and an afx udp to put on during my t-belt install. i dont know though, it would make me want to change my timing belt a lot because i get so much more power. ha ha.

You do have to port and polish the intake mani if ya want to feel a real difference. Your airflow is only as strong as your smallest port. The intake mani port is about 52mm I believe. At least have it ported to 58mm or somethin. When my friend had that it was a world of difference. You can do it yourself with a dremel. The metal is pretty soft.

WTB:
--bolt on turbo kit (star, hahn, etc.)
--rear drum to disc set up
--internals
---------------HOLLA!!!
