i've had this idea floating around getting tweaked in my head for awhile.

i'm talking a true ram air setup. i was thinking of modifying a stock or fibreglass hood so it would have a bit of a scoop.the power bulge would be ideal. from there you could mod a hole into it about 6 inches wide. have the whole leading into a large airfilter about 8x10 or so. modify the intake plumbing to accept the new filter. prolly woulnd't be to hard for someone with sheet metal skills to make an air box for the filter. then you could use a short ram pipe to finish off the plumbing into the TB. add some rubber surround around the air box so it seals tight to the hood and doesn't scratch or crack it.

it would take some time but i think it could be done for fairly cheap and prolly be worth it for all motor people.

Cold air hood...posted a few days ago. Check out the link^^. I'm working on doing the same thing before I repaint my car. I think it looks awesome. I've thought about it ever since I saw an Eclipse in my area (El Paso, TX) back in 1998.
