Does anybody know if this is a good product or not? I know the installation will be time consuming, but how is the fitment? Is it worth the 550 bucks to spend on it?

not worth it imo...

just get your stocker ported and polished, 60mm tb gasket matched

WAY cheaper than a venom, i dont think it fits without some modifications anyway....

i know a guy that bought one and he said it required modifications to work...wouldn't bolt right up. I cant see the sense in paying that much for a product that doesnt even fit right.

In one word crap.

I don't think it would flow any better than a prted/polished or extryude honed manifold. and that would be a cheaper way to go.

now lets see here neon guys upgrade their intake and can pick 25-50hp but a better flowing intake for 2gnt's is garbage hrm thats awesome logic..

now i dont have any flow numbers for the venom or seen any dynos but for very few people ever trying this manifold i dont see why everyone dogs it... its a nice piece granted the manifold is probably much better for turbo but its not *crap*

if your looking for something for a n/a car i have a manifold im puttin the finishing touches on that would produce a decent gain and its les then the venom...(not as pretty though =(

Bill

if your gonna comment ona product just say that it might not flow properly for a n/a car or it may not produce gains on your car.

now if the product was built terribly or broke upon use it could be called crap but i dont see this as the case (yes u need to modify cruise for the manifold well thats the price u pay for such a nice piece...)

I would't go for a venom, It is a very poorly designed manifold. I've seen losses on n/a cars and turbo cars. venom just puts different flanges on the same manifold for different cars. Anyone can weld a 2 liter bottle on 4 toilet paper rolls and call it a manifold.. BTW a neon manifold is totally different than a 2gnt manifold.

I guess it really depends on the application! Didn't Turbo magazine use on to build up a galant vr4? I believe they utilized this manifold with great success!

Yep, they work pretty well on 4g63 cars with big power, for the simple fact that the 4G cars like overkill. I'm not shooting them down for everything but I don't think it will work very well on a 420A. Just for reference I put a venom on a 400 WHP 4g63 and picked up 10 Hp, I also put a magnus on a 4g63 and picked up 51 RWHP.

Call me a noob, but WTF is a "magnus"?:wary

magnus motorsports its 4g63 company brand of manifold higher end 4g63 stuff..

i agree vt although i have no expirence with the 420a venom i cant say yay no nay to it being good...

there is room for improvment on the stock 2gnt manifold though!!!
who will find it ?

The 420A manifold could definatly use some improvements, I just wish I had some time to do something for you guys, I hope someone will.

my buddy out here runs a venom intake manifold... he has a t60-1 turbo on his 2gnt, now T'd and it works/runs fine...

he had to add ports for the brake booster, two vacuum lines, and the MAP sensor, but it runs great and looks sweet!!!

for an N/A car, i think a p&p and then honed intake mani is the best way to go..

for a turbo application, the more air you can shuv into the head, the better!!!!

i vote for it! (for turbo use only)

Pretty damn expensive, I'd say. I'll just wait until someone overcomes the space limitation issues and makes an individual TB manifold...speaking of which, anyone who was working on that made any progress?
