58672, Removing A/C And heater need opinions Posted by 95 silver gs, Sep-07-03 08:05 AM
OK the ac i am still debating ut the heat has to go now. I won't be driving the car on cold days so it doesn't bother me. But the ac is still up in the air. My question is what can i take out for the heater. The reason i am taking it out is because not think i put my egt probe on cylinder 4 right under the water neck and i won't be able to get the probe in with the heater lines.(did it before it was on motor) Let me no thanks

this isnt the advice you were looking for...its some legal bs, maybe doesnt even apply to you. in va, if the car is to be driven on public streets, it has to have the heater stuff for the defroster. i know you said it wont be driven on cold days, and unless you have an inspection hookup(doesnt everyone?) it wont pass. im pretty sure its the case in all states(correct me if im wrong). the only exceptions i know to these point of the inspection is antique vehicles, that must have antique plates. another thing to think about.
