they always run rough when cold from my experience. mine does that too, drops down just a bit acts like it is about to die then jumps back up. it rarely does it and has never completely shut off tho so i dunno.

There's a number of sensors that "could" be staring to go on you... for hot/cold problems I would start with coolant temp sensor. IAC could be acting up as well...

Smooth idle? We don't need no stinking smooth idle.

take off your intake pipe to your intake (whether u have CAI or intercooler pipes) get some carb/choke cleaner and spray it into and on the butterfly plate in the intake. make sure u get that little hole in the TB that goes to the IAC. just do a basic tb service, it takes 5 mins and you will idle stronger. on another note, the 420a (as with most engines) runs rich at startup to get the engine up to operating temperatures quicker.

Mine does this too, but it also does it if I go into somewhere for an hour or so and come back out, sometimes it doesn't do it at all. It's very strange, plugs are new, and I just replaced one of the problems that I thought was causing it, now I'm wondering what else it could be.

yea what turbo8u said. Clean your TB that should take care of it.
