Some people have had a good outcome with baking it. We on the other hand baked it at 350 for 20 min. tried it, baked it 20 min more, still didn't go on, turned it up to 375 for another 20 min then just got a longer bolt and kept screwing it in till it was on :) Probably not good but worked :)

I cooked mine for over a half hour before in stall and koolade9 and me cooked his for longer and both times the effects were negligable. It barely slid on. Go and get a longer crank bolt, about an inch longer than the stock one and pull it on most of the way and switch to the stock bolt to finish it off.
