I kinda have a spyder convertible gst.. not sure if its a 2.4 or 2.2.. I dont really know if there are both that are turbo or not.. cuz I am a 420a man myself not a 4g6X... this is not one of those questions where people ask what is the best turbo to get..and then never get it.. I'm serious about this.. I can either buy this gst which needs a new engine the guy says.. I think from locking up or I can just buy parts... I have a 95gs... my engine is a rebuild and has about 120 miles on it at the most... just thought I'd check in and see if any of it is worth it.. I'm talkin anything that mates.. exterior as well as int and engine wise... I'm thinkin bout takin the power mirrors cuz they are the saem color and mine need replacing.. and its all leather, so that's a thought too..both are 5spd and that's about all I can think to put..thanks in advance.. and I put this in performance/engine b/c its mainly for performance why I"m asking

definately a super noob question

everything interior and exterior wise should be interchangable. accept of course the rear hatch

as for the motor if its turbo its a 2.0 4g63, which nothing is interchangable with the 420a

if its a non turbo, its a 4g64, which is a sohc motor, which notihing is interchangable with the 420a

bottom line is nothing is interchangable motor wise with the rs/gs coupe eclipses with the spyders.

yeah, gst spyders use the same 2.0L 4g63T where as the GS spyders use the SOHC 2.4L 4g64 found in the galant and various other vehicles. not all of the interior is interchangable. for example, the door panels have an extra set of power switches to roll down the glass in the rear. also, the rear speaker enclosure panels are different im pretty sure. it has more of a trunk rather than a hatch, so some of that is different. but things like the dash, radio trim, console, and the like are interchangable...body parts too. and as ^ said, nothing from the engine is.

thanks..that's what I was wondering.. I didnt mean like valve cover stuff like that.. I meant for performance wise that's why I asked.. I know the other stuff.. I meant like would the grind of the dohc spyder engine fit/be better in a 420a and that sort of stuff... but I got my answer thanks though.. super noob :) thanks KARA, I think of myself a little more than that.. but its all good, just wait til my 420a is blowin past your gsxr :) haha...lynchburg aint that far away haha.. peace ya'll thanks again

the gsxr comment, dump 10k in the motor and another 6k in the turbo

fuel setup, then u might be able to catch up, if i gave u 5 car lenths ;)
