When I hydrolocked my engine I took it to the dealer. All they did was take the spark plugs out and kept on cranking it to shoot the water out of the cylinders from what I was told. I guess you will need some way to keep your battery charged while doing so, and do not hold the key in the start postion for more than 8-10 secs so that you dont kill your starter. The dealer drained and refilled the oil and I was turboed shortly after for about 3 years with no problems.
Hopefully you were not going too fast and damaged the internals, which of course is a bigger problem.
It's worth a shot. Hope I helped in any way.
Good luck!

If it still does not work, then try disconnecting the injector harness and try try try again.

thanks a lot. I ended up taking the intake off and with doing so i found the air filter was mangled. I got a ride to a performance shop and priced out a new filter and bypass valve. (90-100$)the parts will be in tomorrow, but i put everything back on, ran the car for about 10 minutes and took it for a spin. It seems to be ok, just a little laggy. thanks a lot for the input, i was shittin my pants last night and this morning.

Yeah most defintitely change the oil and do a routine tune up. Glad you got it up and running and nothing major seems to be damaged.

3 months ago i had this problem, except not only wasi driving in the rain, i went thru a monstrous puddle due to the lack of vision I had, and Im talking this thing was almost at my waist. It got into my engine and bent a rod, it made a VERY loud clanking noise. I changed my oil, took the spark plugs out and shot as much water was i could out cranking it, changed the spark plugs and wires, but the damage was already done and in the process of doing that I fried my battery and my starter so I had to replace those as well. I ended up takin the motor out, strippin it apart, putting in a new piston/rod all new rings, new bearings, new headgasket, new valve cover gasker, and she runs like a champ now. I wish the best of luck, but id be quick to change that oil and spark plugs, you just might have gotten lucky!
