alright i got ahold of a ecu that has been modified by jet performance. but im not sure what year ecu it is (think its a 99mt) how do i tell what year ecu it is numbers on it are

64490 this is on the front

and chrsler part no is p05293190ac 05 and i cant see the rest because of the the jet seal

how will i be able to find out what has been done to it.
i was told by a friend that pulled it off that he reved the car to like 10g(i don't think so but anyway)

if its a 99 and your a 96 im pretty sure that its not going to work. I have a spare 96 m/t ecu sitting around if you'd like to pick it up to have jet performance do a few mods..or just to have it.:thumbsup

i have a 96 yeah and i i also have an extra 96 mt ecu and i know it won't work in my car if its a 99ecu the q was how do i tell what year it is

sorry man, im trying my hardest to get rid of this ecu..as for what year, call mitsu and give them the serial number.

no problem , i just want to be 100% about this ecu. i know the car it was in was a 99 but it was modded pretty heavy so i wanna make sure the harness wasn't changed . i am prob gonna sell the ecu
