58150, question for those with AEM cam gears. Not the standard "how do i"... Posted by tim97rs, Aug-30-03 08:00 AM
if i have the older models (the ones with wrong timing marks) that have the allen head tightening bolts, should i upgrade to the hex head bolts that are on the new ones? anyone had any problems with slippage?
thanks

I wouldn't mess around with the old style. I would hate to find out that for saving a few bucks in bolts they slip and bend some valves.
Seems like a worthwhile precaution to me.

Smooth idle? We don't need no stinking smooth idle.
