At the very least, you're gonna need some new plugs. But the real problem that needs to be fixed is gonna depend on how the plugs are covered in oil.

If the top half of the plug is covered in oil - then you need a new valve cover gasket.

If the top half of the plug is dry and ONLY the very bottom part of the plug is covered in oil - then you have internal engine damage.

what if both halves of the spark plug are covered in oil?

then your pretty screwed both ways

You could have a holed piston
severe ring damage
Or both

Either way... stop driving the car

You could be messing up the cyl walls

would that explain why my car is a moving smokestack?

It sounds like you have a serious problem on your hands. How many miles are on your ride? Maybe your rings are shot.

Both could just be the bottom getting wet as you pull the plug out throgh the oil...

If you smoke a lot then I'd be inclined to say your rings are shot, possibl worse. Start with a compression test, and replace the valve cover and sprk plug well gaskets.

Smooth idle? We don't need no stinking smooth idle.

I have 156,000miles, technically I can keep driving it until it doesn't go anymore right?

Take out the sparkplugs and look down into the combustion chamber, U might need a flashlight and tell us what you see. also i think it could be a bad sparkplug seal, but that i dont think would cause the engine to run like shit.
