i would just like to thank dan and kaiser for their help on this "little" project.. and thanks to james for letting us whore his tools :)

after 148k (18k worth of boost), it was time to rebuild... i had no problems aside from a leaky head gasket and leaky main seals.. all in all, after all the hell i put this car through, it was still bucking strong.

now all i need to do is get my manifold fixed (or get a new one :() (so cal guys know what is wrong with it), some new piping, and to get my damn CM4 and CM flywheel on and ill be set. we were ready to put the CM stuff on, but of course, the stock bolts for the pressure plate were not long enough for the new flywheel... so like an idiot, im going to have to drop the tranny and do it later. which also means to seperate break ins :(

i was just about to lose faith in this damn car, but im so damn close to being where ive wanted to be.... just thought id share my joy! :thumbsup and ive still got a couple things up my sleave :)

cool! wow all that was wrong was the head gasket and seals. when you pulled up to the last meet someone said - "do I hear a v6 in there?" bwahaha

when i heard you take off at the last meet my heart stop beating for a second. hehe.. cool deal. i just got my motor rebuilt and my car running on the 10th ( day of the meet ) and now i got a little over 1,050 miles..hehe boost here i come :D

Hit me up on aim , i want to ask you some questions about the clutch set up you choose. On the plus note, I know I couldnt stay cus i told my friend i owuld help him with something but I met a former ASOG guy...lives down the street from me. Had a seabring running 20psi...wtf Another one of ya guys to help me out on my re build }(

good to hear the car is up and running. Now just get a new turbo/manifold assembly, and you shoudl be ready to go.

Oh and throw in a SFMU while you are at it.

I really can't take credit for the rebuild, seeing how I only showed up for a few hours, and threw on a few parts. Dan is the man...:P

Oh by the way, was your exhaust tip extremely shiny when it left Dan's place...?

ez.. haha.. well, that's what was wrong with the engine. what you and a 20mi radius heard was my manifold, or lack there of... that will be replaced soon and ill be boosting away shortly... but for close to 150k and a hard beating, the engine was in decent shape.

pn0ymahal.. niiiice! :thumbsup i cant wait for this break in to be done.. unfortunately.. im going to have to break in the clutch/flywheel at a different time, would have been nice to get it all done at once :(.. so cal 2gnt is going to be putting up some big numbers... group dyno day??? :)

After being driven for months with a "vented" manifold, engine fire, leaks, general turbo gunk, a set of exploded florescent tubes, 3 full cans of degreaser, and who knows what the rest of that crap was... anyways, I'll never want to clean again. :rolleyes

Tonite is operation degrease the driveway and garage walls that somehow are quite exceptionally splattered with ^^^above^^^.
