Can I install a DOHC ECU from a 98 420a Eclipse and use it in a SOHC 98 420a Neon?

I am dong this because the Neon has a 118 mph speed limiter and a 6800 rpm rev limit in it and the ours has no speed limit and a 7400 rpm fuel cut.

No you can't. Not without some major mods to the ECU and it's programing. That's why the 2gnt's can't use the AFX ECU's for the neon. This is a blanket statement here but generly speaking, the tranny guts and the block will swap, everything else is different.

since when the 420a has 2 cam angle sensors ?:P :P

actually if you are ready to rewire the connector and don't mind
loosing a few thing like the A/C if you have one you could swap

there was an Avenger last year running with the Mopar performance computer for the Neon DOHC
speedo, rpm, a/c and a bunch of other things were out but the car was running

Yeah and it's only about $200 through Bob Kise. There is too much different for the ECU, programming. Injector size may be different... cam position sensor on intake instead of exhaust cam, so there could be differences there. The speedometer/instrument cluster is different, and the different wheel diameter sets a different speed calibration. That's a few off the top of my head, and that says nothing about actually differences in pin outputs from ECU to ECU.
