It's pretty easy. some have done it while leaving the top half of the intake manifold on... not an easy task. There are two bolts on the back of the fuel rail into the lower part of the manifold, 14mm (if memory serves) if you can get to those it could be done. Just pull back and the injector rail will slide out, some monkeying around and you might be bale to slide it out.

What I do, is disconnect the sensors on the intake manifold and TB: TPS, IAC, IAT, MAP, (and the 10mm bolt holding a bracket for the wiring) and the vacuum lines attached as well. Disconnect and unbolt the throttle cable. If course remove your intake pipe. Then from underneath unbolt the upper from lower manifold. (theres a bracket on the front that holds the two together as well. The the bolts that hold in the fuel rail are easily accessible and you have more leverage to pull the rail back and out. You can hit the test port to release the fuel pressure in the rail, use a rag and a small screwdriver. The pull the clips that hold the injecters to the rail. And pull the injectors out, you will spill fuel so be ready. Then slide th enew injectors in, you can put some motor oil on the o-rings on the injectors to make them slide in easier. Put it back together and you are done.

Smooth idle? We don't need no stinking smooth idle.

2 14mm bolts attach the fuel rail to the manifold. 2 small phillips screws attach the rail to the fuel line. remove those and relieve pressure . the entire fuel reil will pull straight up and then remove each clip the holds in the injectors. repeat process in reverse for install.
