does anyone else have this problem? is it a problem? or is it just my cai.

Have you taken apart anything on your motor recently? You could have a decent sized vaccum leak if you didnt seal something correctly..or it could just be your cai:thumbsup

I had some hissing noise too coming from the back of my car. It was the fuel pump. After I changed that, no more funny hisses.

Well its been doing it for a while. Im going to go check all my hoses.

i bet it's either your t.b. gasket, intake manifold gasket, or cai rubber fitting or something

This may sound stupid.... but do you run your A/C consistently? it can make a "hissing" noise when you start/turn off you car too. jus ta shot in the dark.

well i found the rubber coupling between the tb and the cai loose. But it still makes the noise a little. And yes i do run my a/c more tan usual because i live in miami.

Its prob. your CAI Where is the filter under the hood or in the fenderwell? Mine Does it b/c you can here it good because it is right in front of the tire. And b/c it is 3" all the way. If it runs ok leave it alone.

I have a hiss with my car due to the CAI but it's only noticeable at idle... Most likely that's the sound you're hearing. Maybe put on the stock airbox to see if the hissing goes away or not.

Im pretty sure its my cai but i was just making sure that i didnt have a vac leak. thanks guys
