I was looking around on ebay today and noticed a couple things for relativly cheap that could be of some intrest. First off, I saw a 4-2-1 header that was $170. It said that it came from the UK and has never been introduced here and will put a Greddy header to shame or something like that. It didn't have a name, just Eclipse Race Header. Anyone heard of it?

Second, there was a universal chip that added UP TO 20+ HP. ICDE II if I remember correctly. Any info on these things?

Also those headers have been on ebay for quite some time, some people say they are OBX or OBX ripoffs.. dunno. Make sure you check out the guys feedback and watch his/her auctions for a while to see what happens. Good luck imo.

Well the 20 hp thing was what it said. It states that for under a 100 bucks you can get up to 20hp with their chip. I don't understand it. So is that header a good one, or is a Greddy better to go with.

lets review... If you could seriously get 20 hp for that price, don't you think everyone, and i mean everyone on this board would have one, or would want one... Its a total scam. DO NOT BUY IT... and i stress this DO NOT BUY IT... it is a $0.18 resistor that you can buy from radio shack. it simply tells the ECU that the throttle is more open then it really is therefore introducing more fuel, and we are already rich. Whether it is listed as a chip, a performance enhancer, a mod, whatever, it is still just a scam.

The eclipse ECU is smarter than the average Ebay buyer and will soon override the resistor mod.

About the header. Greddy is good, but for the 1-3 HP that you will gain, I dont know if it is worth the price. I have a header, and honestly I dont notice a difference until I get on the n2o and then i can tell. I don't know the quality of those ebay headers.

I bought the pacesetter header for $150 shipped. Not too noticable of a gain, but worth the money IMO.

the headers you are talking about "from the uk and will put greddy to shame"... that's an obx header. i got that header and i love it. it was something like $212 total with header and downpipe and they were ceramic coated. look at the sellers name... is it "ssautochrome"? if it is, you're def. dealing with an obx header. great product, imo.

did you get the same ceramic headers as the one in this auction? where the pipes for the 3rd and 4th cylinder are in front of the other two?

I don't have the header, but I have dealt with ssautochrome and I had no problems. They shipped my stuff out real quick.

yes i got those exact headers that are shown in the picture. everything about them is identicle to the ones in the picture. they really are a very very nice header. i've had no probs with mine. if you look on www.obxracingsports.com, that header and downpipe combo go for $399.99. they're quality headers. you should get it.:thumbsup

the reason i ask is because i just got those headers too but i didn't get the OBX packet/manual with mine. i see that its in the picture but i didn't get one. i actually bought it from another seller and was wondering if i got ripped off with a fake.
