57501, AFX UDP install adendum Posted by deus_ex_avery, Aug-19-03 04:52 PM
I'm not sure where to put this so I'll put it here. The instructions I downloaded were pretty thorough, but it would have saved me at least a half hour if I had known the type of bolt I needed to pull the new pulley on, so... M 12x1.75, probably 120 mm long. This should save some people some time.
Oh yeah, has anyone who bought from Howell had problems getting the wrong belt? My PS belt only had four grooves instead of five.
Out

I had the same problem. It took me forever to find that bolt. Putting that UDP on was the hardest thing i have ever done on my car and im a machanic. I rented the puller and i could not get the thing off so i had a shop do it. i put the udp on by my self no prob heated the thing up to 550 degress and it slide on no prob. then i coudnt adjust the alternator. i coundt get at any of those bolts for the love of god. so i had then install my Alternator belt. And i did the rest. Still was a pain in the ass. But i love my car even more now. It halls ass

Wow. Another post regarding the specific size bolt for the AFX UDP. As much as I think this could go in the TWSB, we found the size of that bolt in the service manual you can get for free from Dark0ne or juggalo.
You're kinda new here, so that's probably why you missed it. You might want to check those guys posts out and DL that thing. Life saver imo.
Welcome!

When I did a search nothing about the bolt size came up. And every instruction type up I read did not have the bolt. Just trying to help.
