Yes, that is the biggest issue. You will have to have an oilpan custom made to clear the crossmember. I am not sure if the motor mounts are in the same place or not, but I am guessing that they are.

u will want to make sure its the 2.4 inline 4 cylinder stratus motor

95-2003 any year will work each year has differences in oil pump and timing belt tensioner...

the steel oil pan is prefered by most..

you'll want to find a UDP so it fits in there and u might need to space the back of the hood...

hey bill, I was working the local speed sports expo and i saw a booth of a " custom aluminum casting pans" guy. Wouldnt that be good for a mass production kit?

you will need to have the oil pan cut and welded to clear the 2gnt cross member, this requires removing the balance shafts. You will also need to have a custom passenger side motor mount made. Besides some wiring and some possible hood clearance issues the rest is basically plug and play.

I forgot to add, if you want power steering or A/C you will need custom brackets for those also. Be prepaired for a big project it may not be as easy as it sounds.

Nah, let him figure it out himself. After all, he is good at making things from scratch. ;) Now, all we need to do is wait for the posts bitching and whining about the swap to show up.
