Yea, ive been really thinking about it, I dont mind the cost, but Im worried about installation and is it even worth gettin? or would buying a new 2g thats already 5spd be a better idea?...Ive driven manual a few times, but Im not natural yet, I dont mind learning either...So lets hear some opinions? good or bad?

Not many other mods except turbo N2O or SC'ers will lower your Q/T time buy a full second. That freaking impressive. Me i just bought a 5speed after i broke my Auto. But i was planing on doing a swap

i dont even want to think of eclipse as being an auto car. they should have just made them 100% manual.:D

same here...i'm happy with my swap! it makes your car feel like a true sports car. no more mashing on your gas with a sorry slow launch, and get no feel of a true launch revving and spinning tires. and besides, when going turbo, it fried my auto twice even with a tranny cooler when i got to 15psi. it just can't handle the power i'm trying to achieve especially if i'm planning on going 400whp. trust me it makes our cars more fun to drive.

Trust me, you will enjoy the manual tranny far more than the auto tranny. It is a long install to do yourself, but all that suffering will pay off.

DONT RANK ON THE AUTO DAMN IT ....
