Come on dude, you've been around forever. With all the mathematics I've seen here and all the discussion I'm totally convinced that a highly polished 55 or 57 mm tb is better overall than a 60 mm MP TB. You'll feel more torque cuz you're sucking in more air, but your HP actually falls off and you'll be slower in the long run.

I say get a 55 or 57 mm stock overbore.

u could always get some blue flames for maximum hp, lol. don't you have a bored tb already allen? and i can't remember if your 97 or 98, if 97 u need to give my afx ecu a test run.

IMHO Alan you should save another grand or so and buy a turbo. On a side note, Charlie had the 60mm TB and it was a big diffrence over stock.

Damn, it only took 2 weeks to get a response out of this poll. Steve, I have a 99 so the ECU is out of the question. I would really like to get a turbo kit, but I have to smarten up and learn how to drive responsibly!

if you open up the intake side too much and the exhaust side is still restricted, you won't feel as much of a gain. same goes for vice versa. all mods will help you be faster, i love my MP60mm tb and it felt as if it made the biggest difference(i put it on after all my other mods, minus the new plugs...). so, buy the TB used and get a quality header and gut your stock cat or leave the cat alone. most high flow cats will give u a nice orange glow from the left side on the instrument cluster....goodluck.

i have a question about the jeep throttle body. is the power increase that noticeable right after installing it? and does anybody have one?
