i have done searches and even posted before be still have not gotten any answeres to my question. i have coolant going back into my resevoir, a lot of it actually, and that causes my radiator to run dry, then my coolant gauge runs hot. the hose that connect from the radiator to resevoir is pour a lot of coolant and air into the resevor, can sombody help me? please i can't drive me carx(

Dude -- I told you -- bleed the coolant lines cause all you have in your car right now is air -- air in the coolant line is not friendly to the cooling system as it does not have the properties of coolant.

Someone please help this guy out -- take a picture / give him a write up of how to bleed the system -- I don't remember cause I no longer have my car...

Or I meant cooling system..not coolant lines.. the entire cooling system can not have air in it.

anyways... start your car... and with your radiator cap off.. fill the appropriate coolant mixture until you see it rise to the top... continue to do this slowly as it will rise then sink back into the system.. rise and sink back... continue to do this until it starts to stay up at the top of the radiator filler....be careful as the car will probably be getting hot at this time, and if it splashes up its gonna hurt... leave the cap off for a little while... letting the car idle..you will see tiny (in your case large -- I hypothesize) coolant bubbles rising to the top...when it stops bubbling the coolant system will be mosty free of air.

I don't remember if there is a bleeder screw on a 2gnt.. on my CRX there definitely was one... (I am not touching my GTI -- so I haven't even looked) and you would just open the valve until it started to shoot coolant.. at which point all the air was out.

If there is a bleeder valve... someone please show him where.

Hope this works... also one more thing... grab your upper radiator hose when this is all done, and the cap is back on... if it is pulsing (you know like the pulse on your wrist), thats also a good sign that you blew your head gasket.

he did state that he changed his cap and thermostat. Use the cap off the gst. I am using the 16psi one myself. trust me it helps. But if it still doesnt, then mostlikely you have a blown head gasket. I know your getting frustrated, i do too, I have the exact same problem.

oh my goodess there were huge bubbles so i hope thats a good thing. i test drove it around the block to see how it goes and everything looks perfect. but the problem is it doens't relaly strat to bother my car until long hot drives, so im letting the car idle rite now as we speak, to see how it likes it when the car gets hot. thanks so much, especially kahn. thanks so much. i owe you big time if this works.

ps. i knwo you guys all think im sturbborn and all for not listening to you guys from the beginning, it was just that i didn't understand, when you guys said bleed it, i thought bleeding was to flush it out. i flushed it out and everything, even the block, like 4-5 times! i bought like 6 bottles of coolant! 60$. hope this works though. i wasn't being stubburn, i just didn't understand, thanks.
