56552, Planned upgrade question / need to pound a honda....

First off Id like to say I love you guys and this site. Ive answered many of my own questions through all the posts here but now ive got a question of me own.

Last week i got toasted by a lil crap lookin civic on the juice (needles to say im irked) So im jumping into the upgrade area as i can

I have a 96 talon Esi w/ the 420a engine. Intake / exhaust are on the way (by the 7th i hope) But my main questoion lies in this:

I was looking to get upgraded cams, more specificly the crower Stage 2 - Agressive street use or nitrous. Now can these be dropped in and go, or will i need a SAFC or such to tune them in?

Further i intend to go turbo later (as its a bit from my price at moment). Will these cams be a help or hinderence to a turbo set up as id hate to get a 3rd set of cams once i change.

#rd and i think last so ill shut up, Will it be safe to run a joint N2O/ turbo set up provided the rods, pistons, head ect are set up for turbo? I was considering a duel stage (sorta like a 35 / 50 or 75) as a spool up then power, but would this be pushing the 420 beyond its limits?

Lot to ask i know but i will be thankful for any advice givin so i can start to scrub the hondas from my town....we a bit overrun :9

you can do what ever you want to your car if you have the money. For right now you can run up to a 75 shot single stage on stock internals.

What ^^^ said might be your best bet if you want to scrub a civic on the bottle. Do you know what kind of shot he was using? In any case, even if he were running a 25 shot, if you did some mods and beat him, he could just up the jet and you'd be back at square one.

A turbo on the bottle could be tricky to tune, but like he said, anything's possible with enough money. I think if you went with the cams you'd also want to rework the entire head while you were in there. Springs, lash adjusters, gears, the whole gamut. Cams aren't really a fix-all. To see the kind of gains you'd need to play with scissors here, you need to do the supporting mods too.

Good luck and welcome home. ;)
