5643, blocked cat????????

What are the symptoms of a blocked (or partially blocked) cat con? My car seems sluggish off the line, and I was wondering if this may be causing it. BTW, I'm saddened to say it's an auto.
Also, what are the best ways to increase torque besides a UDP?(it's on the way)
