Today when i pulled out my cylinder #1 Spark Plug Cable..the tube was drenched with oil. Eveything was soaked....so i went to check the oil level and sure enough it was low. I tried to clean the tube as much as possible..spark plug seemed to be ok..but i cant trace where the oil is seeping in. I checked cylinder #2 and it was slightly oiled and #3 and #4 where OK. *The car is running fine and it doesnt blow any smoke...so I dont think its the HG or piston rings...but i'll do a compression check. Could it be the valve seals? I just noticed this when i changed my batt. & I decided to replace the plugs as well. Can anyone help me out and show me how I can fix this? Thanks in Advanced.

You just need to replace your spark plug O-ring gaskets and your valve cover gasket. A simple $30 or less fix and it shouldn't take you more than 2 hours to fix.

check for cracks in your valve cover where the spark plugs go. I have the same problem and replaced the gaskets and its still leaking. I found very small cracks in the hole that allows oil into the spark plug tube very slowly. For the time being i just clean out the tube every time i change my oil until i get a chance to look for a new valve cover. There usually no more than about half an inch of oil in the bottom so i just clean it out. Never heard of changing the spark plug oil huh...
