How do these things sound on ours cars? I want a quieter deep tone. Will i get this from this muffler?

I have the ultra flo Dynomax muffler. It has a nice and deep sound to it. Loud enough to set off car alarms, but not bad enough to be annoying.

They have a nice sound. I just don't like the fact that the street series only have a 2-1/4", you have to go to the straight through race mufflers to get a 2-1/2" inlet, and that's not the style I'm looking for.

You have any pics of this exhaust setup?

I can take some when i get off work.

I've just got a Magnaflow offset universal with the 3 year old ghey tip on it. It sounds very nice. It's pretty low down and I like to set off alarms with it too, but it gets that rasp on it every so often when it's cold. A cherry bomb will fix that soon... :P

i used to have that dynamax. it was pretty deep. but got too loud for me on the interstate

It was a lot louder when i had my header installed. Now with the turbo, it is much quieter.

i was looking for the exact same thing on my 99 RS
and I'm very happy with my magnaflow exhaust.
I don't have a cat-back system yet.. just the muffler
as of now it's very deep toned and not like any other muffler
I've heard out there.

i have the 3" race muffler as you can see, it sounds nice, but i want to change my whole exhaust system concept.
