Hey guys, I bought one of those cheap ebay cold air intakes and the bracket that is welded on the pipe that holds the intake to the car broke. and i dont want to drive around and risk it falling off, so my question is. Could I take off the second half of pipe and pul the filter on the first half and it would be somewhat of a short ram intake, would that work?

i think that it would work. your just moving the filter up the pipe right? it should fit right on the pipe. but will it fit in the engine bay?

it fits on the pipe and engine bay, i had no problems with it tonight
